our impact
DICE Enterprise is a not-for-profit social enterprise based in Yorkshire, creating activities, events, and services for people with a disability, mainly adults aged 18 and over.
Everything we do is about real choice. Some people want to jump in and take part, others prefer to watch, try something new at their own pace, or enjoy being around others. Our programme is shaped by the ideas, feedback, and lived experience of disabled people, alongside families, carers, and professionals who support their development. We focus on what people actually want, and in many cases, what they need: safe spaces, genuine connections, and opportunities that build confidence and independence.
We also work alongside local groups and organisations to co-deliver events wherever we can, so we can reach more people and create a bigger impact together.

Our Story
DICE began in May 2013, founded by Colin Findley, after he saw a clear gap locally: not enough safe, inclusive opportunities for disabled people to socialise, try new things, and feel part of something bigger.
DICE might not have existed without the support of a local business that sponsored the first year of operations. We are incredibly grateful to Active Cares for backing the vision from day one, and for sharing our belief that disabled people deserve more, more choice, more experiences, and more places where they feel they truly belong.
In January 2014, Nathan Kennedy joined Colin in a business partnership, bringing marketing expertise and strong community experience. Together, with over 20 years of combined experience and a shared drive to do things properly, they grew DICE into what it is today, expanding opportunities for adults with a disability across Doncaster and Sheffield, and building a community that keeps getting stronger year after year.
